A brass hexagon nipple is the connector used to join two female threaded parts back to back: a filter regulator to a lubricator, a manifold port to a quick coupling, or a ball valve to a hose fitting. The hex lets you tighten it with an ordinary spanner. Brass is preferred on air lines because it resists the moisture carried in compressed air and does not gall when fittings are made up and broken repeatedly.
Hamza Fasteners stocks equal and reducing brass hex nipples from 1/8" to 1" in BSP and NPT threads. Check which thread your equipment uses, since BSP and NPT look alike but do not mate reliably. Tapered BSPT and NPT threads seal on the thread with PTFE tape or sealant, while parallel BSPP versions seal on a bonded washer or O-ring.
