What is a GI pal nut?
A GI pal nut is a thin, galvanized formed sheet-steel push-on nut whose spring tension grips a bolt or stud thread. It is used to lock a standard nut against loosening or to retain a light assembly quickly and cheaply. Common sizes M4 to M12.
Do you only supply one size of pal nut?
No. The datasheet shows representative sizes for reference. We supply the full range M4–M12 (and others) in pal, speed, spring and cage-nut types, in galvanized, zinc and phosphate finishes. Send your requirement for availability and price.
How does a pal nut lock a nut?
The pal nut is threaded down on top of a standard nut; its spring form bites the thread and pushes against the nut, jamming it so it resists vibration loosening.
What sizes and finishes are available?
Standard stock is M4 to M12 in galvanized/zinc finish. Speed nuts, spring nuts and cage nuts are also available on request.
How much does a GI pal nut cost?
Price depends on size and quantity. We offer competitive per-piece and bulk wholesale pricing. Request a quote for the best pal nut price in your city.
