A suction hose assembly saves time and avoids the most common cause of suction problems: an air leak at a badly fitted end. We cut suction hose to length, fit the coupling shank fully into the bore and secure it with clamps sized to the hose. Camlock couplings to EN 14420-7, also known by MIL-C-27487 dimensions, are the usual choice because they connect and release in seconds without tools.
Assemblies are built from 1" to 6" in aluminium, brass, stainless steel or polypropylene couplings. Tell us the pump or tanker connection and length, and we will specify the coupling types. Every assembly is checked for a fully inserted shank and correctly tightened clamps before it leaves the store. Lengths can be matched so several hoses can be joined end to end on a long run.
