A brass hose barb tee creates a branch in a flexible hose line. Two barbs run in line and a third leaves at 90 degrees from the centre, so flow from one hose can be shared between two outlets, or two supplies combined. Each port is pushed into its hose and secured with a clip. Because the body is solid brass, it holds its shape under clip pressure and outdoor heat, where plastic tees can soften or crack.
