Corrugated conduit protects cables mechanically while letting them be pulled in after the building work is done. The ribbed wall gives crush resistance and allows tight bends without fittings, so a single length can run from a switch box up a wall and across a ceiling. Pliable conduit for electrical installations is covered by IEC 61386-22, which classifies it by compression strength, impact and temperature.
Hamza Fasteners stocks corrugated conduit from 16 to 50 mm OD in coils, for wiring in walls, slabs and panels. Choose a heavier compression class for conduit cast into concrete. Pull wires are available in many sizes. Medium grades suit surface work behind false ceilings and in dry walls, while heavy grades are used in slabs where workers walk on the conduit before the pour.
