The DP dust plug is a solid male adapter that plugs into a camlock coupler. Clipped into a hose end, it keeps the bore clean, holds residual fluid in and protects the coupler gasket between jobs.

A Type DP is a male adapter with a closed end. It has the same groove profile as a Type A, E or F, so the coupler's cam arms lock onto it and its gasket seals against it. Plugged hose ends drain less, stay free of sand and insects, and the gasket inside the coupler is protected from sun and grit. Most DP plugs have a chain hole or loop for retention.
