A carbon steel threaded flange, also called a screwed flange, has a female taper thread in its bore. It screws onto a threaded pipe end and then bolts to a valve, pump or another flange through a gasket. No welding is needed, which makes it the choice where hot work is not allowed, such as fuel stations and gas installations, or where small lines are threaded throughout.
We supply threaded flanges from 1/2" to 6" to ASME B16.5 Class 150 raised face, forged from A105, with NPT or BSP bores. They are used on fire and water lines, fuel systems, compressed air and to connect threaded pipe to flanged valves. Higher classes on request. Matching gaskets and bolts can be supplied.
