HDPE coil can bend gently, but tight corners need a fitting. The HDPE compression elbow makes a full 90° turn in a short space, such as where a buried line rises to a valve or tap. It works like other compression fittings: a nut, split clamping ring and O-ring on each pipe leg. Threaded versions replace one leg with a male or female BSP end.
We stock equal elbows from 20 to 110 mm and male and female threaded elbows from 20 mm x 1/2" to 63 mm x 2". They suit both PE80 and PE100 pipe of matching OD. Threaded elbows are widely used where a buried service line rises to a stopcock, garden tap or meter. Equal elbows suit corners in yard and plot supply lines.
